After few weeks of his Sack from Square records, May D is set to join the like of MI Abaga, Jesse Jagz and Ice Prince at Chocolate City Records. MayD who signed under Square Records last year May had his contract terminated by mutual consent few weeks ago. In an Interview before the Afrobeats concert in London, the Square Record manager Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye said it was a result due to irreconcilable differences.
On the social network (twitter) yesterday, MI Abaga twitter on his timeline that “It almost sounds like May D is saying… ‘As a choc boy! I go de..” which probably would end the speculation of where his Musical Career is heading towards.
Akinmayokun Awodumila popularly known as Mr May D is recognised for his sonorous voice and rhymes after he released hits like Soundtrack and Ile Ijo which became massive airplays on both the local and international media. Also he has been featured by Jmartins, Davido, Psquare on cool temper, bless me, chop my money respectively and many others.
