Enrique Iglesias to judge 'American Idol

American Idol is set to begin its 12th season in 2013 with a complete makeover. Singer/songwriter Mariah Carey has already landed a deal with the hit singing competition show, and rumors have been blossoming daily as to who will join her now that Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez have left the show.
Previous reports suggest that Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj are set to ink a deal, despite confirmation from American Idol or Fox. Minaj and Urban are set to sign on the line for $8 million a piece.
Now, Entertainment Weekly reports that Enrique Iglesias is set to take on the rumored fourth spot at the judging table, replacing judge Randy Jackson who has moved to a mentoring position.
Iglesias has reportedly received a firm offer of $4 million. EW notes that Iglesias’s addition will round out the table with a variety of genres including country, pop, Latin and rap.
If Iglesias passes, previously rumored AI alum Adam Lambert may be offered the coveted seat.
